The Merlin is a wide-body milled mallet engineered to track like a center shaft, giving you the stability of a big mallet with a release that squares itself through impact.
It's for the player who wants maximum mallet forgiveness but hates fighting a head that hangs open through the stroke. Milled from a single solid block with no cast body and no bolted hosel, it's tour-grade build at $549, a fraction of what a comparable milled mallet costs elsewhere.
Batch 01. Limited run.
A face-balanced L-neck mallet milled from a single solid block. Where most L-neck putters swing open to closed, the Merlin is engineered to track more like a center-shafted putter. It comes with two alignment options, Long Line or Short Line, which differ only in the length of the sight line milled across the top. The choice is purely about your look at address; both play identically.
Like every Paradise putter, the Merlin's face carries our patent-pending Variable Loft Technology (VLTâ„¢). A curved, deep-milled face that grips the ball at impact to kill skid. On average, our putters start the ball rolling 6 to 9 inches sooner than a conventional putter on a 25-foot putt at tournament green speed (stimp 14). Earlier roll means a truer line.
Set it down and it sits square. The deep milling gives a soft, muted feel and a sound that tells you exactly where you struck it. It reads better in hand than it does in photographs.
Milled from a single solid block, then hand assembled and tested before it ships. That's why a single putter takes a full day to make.
