Heron Prototype
The Heron is a milled flow-neck blade with the most toe hang in the lineup — built for players with an arc in their stroke.
A traditional flow-neck blade with 30° of toe hang, milled from a solid block of 1020 carbon steel. Of all our putters, the Heron releases the most, which makes it the natural fit for a stronger arc.
Its face carries our patent-pending Variable Loft Technology (VLT™) — a curved, deep-milled face that grips the ball at impact to kill skid. On average, a Heron starts the ball rolling 6 to 9 inches sooner than a conventional putter on a 25-foot putt at tournament green speed (stimp 14). Earlier roll means a truer line. A truer line means more putts that start and stay on target.
Set it down and it sits square. The deep milling gives a soft, muted feel and a sound that tells you exactly where you struck it. It reads better in hand than it does in photographs.
One piece. No cavities, no screwed-and-soldered hosels. Milled from a solid block of 1020 carbon steel, then assembled and hand-tested before it ships — which is why a single putter takes a full day to make.
